I’ve been writing about video games, television and movies for Forbes for over 10 years, and you may have seen my reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. I cover all manner of console and PC games, but if it’s about looting or shooting, I’m definitely there. If I’m watching something, it’s usually science fiction, horror or superheroic.

The run-up to next year’s Captain America: Brave New World has been a bit unusual. There is talk of reshooting and reworking portions of the film, sometimes due to current world events. And there’s Anthony Mackie , its star, talking about how he misses his friends from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and was sad they aren’t in the film.

There’s a joke about how Ross looks different now, given that he was recast from The Incredible Hulk. “They said lose the mustache or lose the election,” Ross says. Isaiah Bradley is there, the aging super soldier last seen in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and hears a song that triggers him to start attacking. Even Ross himself is forced to fight, and it’s acknowledged that the “inner circle has been compromised.”
