Marks and Spencer is about to make a massive move to the former Debenhams store
Marks and Spencer is about to open a brand new store in Liverpool ONE after almost 100 years at its Church Street home.
The retail giant moved into the grade II-listed building in 1928 and will close its doors for a final time this evening . But M&S will be opening a new chapter in the former Debenhams building on Lord Street tomorrow at 9am.
Ahead of the opening of the 70,000 sqft store, here is what we know so far and what we can expect from the retailer tomorrow.Percy Pig himself will be at the store tomorrow to greet shoppers at the grand opening. We are sure there will be an opportunity to meet the star himself. It is not known if Penny, Percy's wife of five years, will be turning up.The first 200 shoppers at the new M&S will be given golden tickets by the staff.
