Toyota Motor Philippines has introduced one of its most important new models of the year: the all-new Wigo. As Filipinos seek to become more mobile, the Wigo has proven to be a success story for the country’s number one carmaker. The second-generation model aims to build on that solid foundation by getting a top-down redesign and more tech-features than ever before.
The all-new Wigo gains a sportier-looking design with a stronger family resemblance to its bigger brother, the Vios. The larger grille now extends from the wide chrome accent all the way down to the bottom part of the front bumper. Slim horizontally-oriented LED headlights and vertically-oriented LED driving lamps, meanwhile emphasize its width.Orange Metallic 3 – 1.0 G CVTGray Metallic – 1.0 J MT, 1.0 E CVT, 1.
Under the hood, the all-new Wigo gets the 1KR-VE 1.0-liter 12-valve DOHC 3-cylinder engine. Equipped with variable valve timing, it makes 67 horsepower and 89 Nm of torque. The transmission options are a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Inside, the all-new Wigo features a cabin very reminiscent of the Raize. The horizontal motif offers a feeling of space, while also making room for features such as the free-standing 8-inch Display Audio system . The top-trim 1.0 G CVT also gets features like a keyless entry with push-button start-stop, digital-type AC controls, and a 6-way manual adjustable driver’s seat.
In terms of safety, the Wigo receives dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control with hill start assist as standard. The 1.0 G CVT builds on that with a backup camera and a digital video recorder .Wigo 1.0 E CVT – P 684,0002024 Toyota Wigo Philippine Specifications
