A barangay councilor was shot dead by a former Philippine Army reservist inside a beerhouse in Manila on Thursday, March 9.
Manila Police District Ermita Police Station identified the suspect as Rolly Algarme, 43, a resident of North Caloocan.According to the MPD, the shooting incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. inside a beerhouse on J. Nakpil Street in Ermita on Thursday.
Police said the victim celebrated the birthday of one of his staff at the said beerhouse the night before the shooting incident.Police said the victim allegedly told the suspect that he can park his car beside his vehicle.
