A former Barlinnie inmate is due to appear in a reality jail show alongside TV stars and an ex-Tory MP, with Channel 4 producers already working on the wild new experiment.
A former prisoner who was locked up in HMP Barlinnie in Glasgow after being found guilty of attempted murder is set to appear in a new reality jail show.
Jordan, who spent time in Glasgow's HMP Barlinnie and first went to jail when he was just 17 years-old, was approached after he was spotted by a TV producer performing songs on TikTok, under the name Hawaii Fivo.READ MORE: Couple who accidentally bought derelict Dunoon mansion share incredible before and after photos
The show, with the working title Banged Up, features EastEnders actor Sid Owen, actor Tom Rosenthal, Gogglebox star Marcus Luther, singer Hrvy, newspaper columnist Peter Hitchens and ex-Conservative MP Neil Parish. Jordan, from Govan, said: “All the ex-cons were all going back into that mode of being back in jail. It was crazy, you just resort back to that mindset.“Within the first two days of the show, it was ready to kick off. People were ready to explode. I was planning on breaking out of the cell and climbing the roof. You then think, ‘Wait a minute. I can walk out of here’. After a few days, one of the producers told everyone, ‘Remember, we’re making a TV show’.
