Emily, 54, played Louise Appleton in Emmerdale between 2001 and 2008. After leaving the ITV soap, Emily, returned home to Australia to reprise her role as Marilyn Chambers in Home and Away.
As reported by our colleagues at the Daily Star, Louise, has reflected on her time in Emmerdale. Most notably discussing the people and things she loved most from her time in Yorkshire."We had a great social life on Emmerdale!," she explained. "I made so many wonderful friends up there and I do miss that aspect. The camaraderie is very special."
Emily revealed she is still in contact with several of her former co-stars, adding: "Charley Webb is still a very dear friend. I also keep in touch with Sheree Murphy and Mark Charnock, we chat to each other on Instagram."Elsewhere, we’ve previously reported, Emily discuss whether she would return to Emmerdale. “Not at this point,” Emily rather cryptically replied. “My boss is sitting right there so I can’t say anything.
That answer possibly leaves a little room for Emmerdale fans to hope we might see barmaid Louise Appleton back in the soap at some point.
