Experienced former England midfielder Jake Livermore has joined Watford on a one-year deal.Livermore had been considered as a potential signing by former head coach Slaven Bilic towards the end of the January transfer window, but the move didn’t materialise.
Loan spells with the likes of MK Dons, Derby, Peterborough and Ipswich helped him gain experience and he featured 58 times for Tottenham, mainly between 2011 and 2013. He made 41 appearances, scoring five goals, and helped Hull not only stay up but also reach the FA Cup Final, where they lost 3-2 to Arsenal.
During the January transfer window in 2017, he completed a £10m switch to fellow Premier League side West Brom.
