Ex flight attendant warns travellers to 'always' close curtains when they leave hotel rooms
An ex-flight attendant has warned people on holiday to “always” keep their hotel room curtains closed when they head out for the day. Miguel Muñoz said it was an important way to stay safe when travelling abroad.
“Have you ever noticed when you first walk into your hotel room that the curtains are open?” he asked. “That’s a tell tale sign that the room is empty.” Therefore, if you keep the curtains shut, anyone thinking of entering the room is likely to assume there is already someone in there and may decide not to target it".Cabin crew are used to staying in hotel rooms abroad as part of their job and Miguel isn't the only one to share his travel tips.
