Former Hollyoaks sensation Loui Batley, known for her portrayal of Sarah Barnes on the Channel 4 soap, looks unrecognisable more than a decade after her character's dramatic on-screen departure. The actress graced the show from 2005 until 2009, exiting in grand style after a tragic skydiving mishap an event that remains one of the most stunning soap departures to date, leaving fans heartbroken over Sarah's sudden demise.
In retrospect, speaking to Digital Spy concerning her character's exit, Loui shared: 'I've been there for quite a while and it was a great ending for the character - I couldn't have asked for a better way to go.' After leaving Hollyoaks, the Lancashire-born actress graced the screen in the TV short Following Footsteps in 2010 and made an appearance on Doctors in 2015. She has now embarked on a new venture as one-half of the double-act Verity and Violet.
