MANILA, Philippines — Former Interior spokesperson Jonathan Malaya is now the National Security Council assistant general director, the council announced on Wednesday.
In a statement, the NSC said they received word of Malaya’s appointment by President Ferdinand ‘’Bongbong’’ Marcos Jr. from Malacañang on Tuesday.“I worked closely with him in the DILG for five years,” Año, who is the former DILG chief in the previous administration, said.
