Mike White is adding another AFC East team to his collection.
White, cut by the Dolphins on Monday, has signed a deal to join the Bills’ practice squad, NFL Network’sMike White warms up before a preseason NFL football game against the Atlanta Falcons, Friday, Aug. 9, 2024, in Miami Gardens, Fla.White lost out on the Miami backup quarterback role to Skylar Thompson and was subsequently cut on Sunday before Tuesday’s 53-man deadline.
In three preseason games with the Dolphins, White — a 2018 fifth-round pick by the Cowboys — completed 46.5 percent of his passes for 179 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.White, 29, became a Jets fan favorite in 2021 when he filled in as a starter for the injured Zach Wilson in a Week 7 game,It was the first 400-yard passing game for the Jets in 21 years, when Vinny Testaverde did so in 2000.
