Leeds United are chasing promotion back to the Premier League after losing to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley last time around
Sam Allardyce has questioned the decision-making of Leeds United owners 49ers Enterprises following a summer of change at Elland Road. The Whites have sold a number of their top players since losing the Championship play-off final to Southampton back in May.
The Whites remain active in the transfer market but have so far only recruited four new players: Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns, Jayden Bogle and Joe Rothwell. Boss Daniel Farke has spoken of his desire to bring in a new full-back, midfielder and attacking player before the summer window closes for business on August 30 at 11pm.
Speaking on the latest episode of the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, ex-United boss Allardyce discussed the sale of Summerville to West Ham. “It’s sad for Leeds because they’re selling too many,” he said.
