Ex-Putin adviser says war would stop 'in a month' if Western countries stopped buying Russian energy
Dr Andrei Illarionov said Russia 'did not take seriously' Europe's gas threats. EU's top diplomat said Europe is paying Putin a billion euros a day for energy. Putin is prepared to suffer current financial hit for the invasion, Illarionov said.
