Midfielder Paul Woods has overcome a serious knee injury and is training with the Stair Park club to build fitness
East Kilbride footballer Paul Woods hopes to have “one last go” next season, after taking major steps on the road to recovery after 15 months of injury hell.
Boss Scott Agnew has also invited him in for pre-season to see how it goes, and Woods is eager to grab that chance. “It has been a long road to recovery but I’ve been really fortunate with it. Stranraer have been great with me, the manager has been great with me, the NHS were brilliant as well. "That’s what has made me want to give it one more shot, and see if I can get through pre-season, because that will be a big test.“I went through stages of not missing it, and thinking maybe this will be it, but once you get by that you get the bug back again.
