Plenty more to come!
Yorkshire has been basking in hot weather for the past week - and according to the Met Office, there is plenty more to come.
According to the Met Office, these hot temperatures will continue until the end of the week, but these temperatures will be a little cooler and will stay around the 25C mark, rather than approaching 30C as they have this weekend. As for the future, the Met Office says the temperature is "likely" to stay hot during the day and overnight between June 15 and June 24. This excludes coastal and eastern areas, which may be a little cooler.
"As the period progresses, conditions are expected to remain similar throughout with settled and dry conditions likely to remain widespread in the north of the UK. Chance of showers and thunderstorms development over the south." "Further unsettled spells with periods of rain or thunderstorms are likely to affect the far south, with a smaller chance that some of these could spread much further north across the country.
