You don't want to risk a hefty fine
Many families will be preparing to visit fireworks displays tomorrow while others will be hosting their own small displays and bonfires at home. Bonfire Night has been a tradition for many decades and every year the sky is lit up with dazzling colours and mesmerising patterns. With the day fast approaching, there are a couple of laws you should be aware of if you are planning on using your own fireworks.
The law states you must not set off or throw fireworks between the hours of 11pm and 7am, this includes sparklers. The only exceptions to this law are Bonfire Night when the cut off is midnight and other major occasions including New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year when the cut off is 1am. There are also laws surrounding the purchase of fireworks.
