A number of NET tram stops have been closed following a serious incident at Highbury Vale tram stop in Basford. Shortly after 11.10am today, June 26, Police were called to Highbury Vale tram stop to reports of a stabbing.

Officers have arrested a man following the incident at the tram stop. Tram services in Nottingham currently face disruption between Hucknall and Bulwell due to the incident. The incident at the tram stop has caused disruption across the network. In the latest update the tram operator has no service between Wilkinson Street and Bulwell on the Hucknall and Toton line.A tram shuttle is currently operating between Hucknall and Bulwell, whilst Phoenix Park and Clifton South trams are running through as normal. For passengers who have been affected tram tickets are being accepted by NCT Yellow line buses and EMR trains between Bulwell and Nottingham City Centre.
