When asked his first meeting with Rosie’s family went, he continued, ‘Honestly, that went great. They were so kind and both her mum and dad were so kind to me. I think they said that if I make Rosie happy, which I must do, then they’re happy as well. I did see the clip and we did laugh about that. She makes me really happy and I seem to make her really happy, who wouldn’t want that? It’s all good.
‘It’s really given me a different perspective of reality TV, because I’d have said like, “How can you love someone after three weeks of knowing them?” But you’re with them all the time. If you’re dating someone on the outside, you’d see them maybe a couple of hours on a Saturday night and a couple of hours during the week, but we spent 24/7 together for five weeks. I meant everything I said about her, as did she and we’re really happy.
