The poll asked what the UK should do if Trump makes good on his promise to reduce the US’s efforts on tackling climate change.Forty per cent said Britain should maintain its current commitment to the issue, with a further 26% saying it should lead to the government going even further than it currently is.
That is partly explained by the fact that two in five Britons expect climate change to impact their lives over the course of this parliament.
