Bros director discusses the ending song and potential sequel plans

director Nick Stoller has opened up about his decision to include a song written by writer/star Billy Eichner at the end of the movie., Stoller discussed the evolution of the scene where Billy Eichner's Bobby sings to Luke Macfarlane's Aaron.

Speaking of the scene in question, Stoller said that even though Luke's character had messed up and needed to apologise, Billy's character also needed to come up with a"grand gesture"."I always felt that Billy needed to make some sort of grand gesture as well. He's the main character. You want that to happen. Billy agreed, but we could never really figure out what it was.

Stoller and Eichner couldn't come up with a plan for the grand gesture until Eichner spoke to Macfarlane about his favourite singer and the idea for the song was born. "Billy was talking to Luke, and Luke said that his favourite artist was Garth Brooks, and Billy thought that was hilarious.
