Don’t Turn Your Back On Friday Night is co-written and co-directed by Michael O’Brien and Mike Schmiedeler , and goes through over 40 years of footage that tells the life of Reilly. Legendary guitarist and songwriter Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine serves as an executive producer on the project.
Don’t Turn Your Back On Friday Night will be released on all TVOD platforms including iTunes, Amazon, YouTube, and others on August 27, 2024. It will also have theatrical premieres with musical performances by Ike Reilly and company in Chicago, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Denver, Fort Wayne, and more to come.
