The documentary is directed by Nick Budabin, and follows the New England peninsula of Cape Cod as they try to deal with the growing shark population as well as the rise in attacks that have occurred.The trailer chronicles the rise in shark attacks in Cape Cod , and teases a variety of interviews with residents who want to explore the waters, members of the science community, and more.
The film also explores the divide between the community between those who want to protect the wildlife, and those who want Cape Cod to be seen as a destination for surfing and other activities. “From the peaks of Cape Cod’s surfing waves to the murky depths below, trouble runs deep on this beloved New England seashore after the first fatal shark attack in eighty years upends the community,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
