MK Dons supremo Liam Sweeting is in the frame to become Carlisle United’s new sporting director,League Two Carlisle are looking to restructure their footballing department by bringing in a new sporting director as well as a new manager following the sacking of Paul Simpson on 31 August.
Sweeting, who joined MK Dons in March 2018 from Crystal Palace, has been sporting director at the club since the summer of 2021.Carlisle want MK Dons transfer guru SweetingMK Dons, who have started their second consecutive season in League Two, were sold to a Kuwaiti consortium fronted by Fahad Al Ghanim last month.
