The renowned architect is releasing his latest book next month, titled “Ten Modern Houses” with Phaidon, offering an in-depth look at 10 of his private residential projects across the globe. The book retails for $350.

The book is broken up into 10 chapters with the first nine focusing on a specific private residence Marino designed. The chapters offer an array of never-before-seen photographs accompanied by text from journalist Sam Lubell that showcase Marino’s approach to materials and“I have tried to faithfully follow the spirit of the places that I built upon,” Marino said in a statement. “My world is very much about materials.

“Ten Modern Houses” is rounded out with its final chapter that showcases a series of projects under development, which give readers a look at Marino’s next residential project. The book also features an introduction written by Pilar Viladas, the former design editor of T Magazine, who discusses Marino’s design process and the unique characteristics of each home.
