Sunderland have agreed a deal to sign former Leeds United winger Ian Poveda on a free transfer,Poveda has agreed a four-year deal with the Black Cats after completing his medical.
The former Chelsea academy graduate had previously been on the books with Leeds since 2020, but he was released this summer after his contract expired. Proveda brings a wealth of experience with him to the Stadium Of Light, having made 171 appearances throughout his career at various levels. The winger has played 55 times in the Championship and will look to add to his three goals and five assists that he’s registered in that time.
