Tottenham have no intention of caving in to Real Madrid or any other club planning to prise star defender Cristian Romero away this summer,, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed it would take an “astronomical” bid for Spurs to even consider selling the Argentina international and even then it would be extremely unlikely they would accept.
The 26-year-old is believed to be happy at Tottenham despite the increased interest in him and is under contract with the club until 2027. Romero has been a mainstay in the Tottenham defence since joining the club on loan in 2021-22 before making his move permanent at the end of that season.
