The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday, April 23 that the country will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the next 24 hours.

Although warm weather may prevail, PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant as there can be flooding or landslides during severe afternoon or evening thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusts of wind, and sometimes hail. Moreover, PAGASA is monitoring a tropical storm with an international name Sanvu over the Pacific Ocean, and is still far from the Philippine area of responsibility.Meanwhile, no gale warning is currently raised over any of the country’s seaboards, as the coastal waters will be light to moderate throughout the archipelago in the next 24 hours.
