A huge part of the country can still expect hot and humid weather conditions this weekend as easterlies or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean continue moving towards the eastern waters. | GabrielLaluINQ

Weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Friday showed however that rains may be experienced over the eastern side of Visayas and Mindanao — particularly over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Region — as cloud clusters were seen forming in the area.Pagasa also said that localized thunderstorms may cause rains in different areas for a short period of time.

For Saturday, temperatures are expected to remain high over Luzon. For Metro Manila it will be between 25 to 35 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao with 24 to 36 degrees; Laoag with 25 to 31 degrees; Baguio with 18 to 25 degrees; Tagaytay with 23 to 30 degrees; Legazpi with 26 to 33 degrees; and Puerto Princesa with 28 to 33 degrees.
