DOCTOR Edsel Salvana of the Department of Health -Technical Advisory Group urged the public on Monday, March 21, 2022, to get booster shots to prevent another surge of coronavirus disease cases in the country.

"We have tools which we have turned Covid almost an endemic virus. Kung mapapagpatuloy pa natin to, wala na pong bagong variant na lumabas, tuloy-tuloy na po yan towards endemicity," he added. The National Task Force Against Covid-19 said out of the 17 regions in the country, 15 have vaccinated 60 to 70 percent of their population.
