A TikTok trend has seen people 'raw dogging' long-haul flights
Flight hacks have taken social media by storm over the years. Still, one peculiar trend drawing attention for long distance travel has raised eyebrows within medical circles, prompting them to issue a warning.
As one user illustrated in a video: "Just raw dogged a seven-hour flight ," he said, "No headphones, no movie, no water, nothing. Incredible. The power of my mind knows no bounds." Mimicking this sentiment, another TikTok user shared a similar video narrative: "Just raw dogged a 15-hour flight to Melbourne. No music, no movies, just the flight map. I counted to one million twice.
Jo highly encourages frequent water intake and limiting alcohol or caffeine during flight. Shedding some light on this, she said: "Plane cabins have low humidity, which can lead to dehydration so it is advised to drink plenty of water throughout the flight to keep your body and eyes hydrated. It's also best to avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine drinks as they can further dehydrate you.
