The Commissioner General for Italy at Expo Osaka 2025 Mario Vattani will be a guest of the fifth edition of Phygital Sustainability Expo, the 2024 European institutional summit on sustainability and technological innovation.
"The Italian Pavilion, planned by Mario Cucinella, will be an outpost of the Italian production system in which 'Italian know-how' and the innovation of our creative industries are promoted on Expo's global stage. "Made in Italy is a synonym of beauty and well-made, high-quality" products, which are"necessary in order to talk about sustainability", said Vattani. Some 160 nations will participate in the event, which is expected to attract about 30 million visitors mainly hailing from Japan and Asian countries.
