The FA Cup fourth round is set to feature exciting matchups, including Wolves facing Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa hosting Tottenham Hotspur.
Wolves will travel to Ewood Park to face Blackburn in the fourth round of the FA Cup, while Aston Villa host Premier League rivals Tottenham . Rovers, who sit seventh in the Championship under manager John Eustace, beat Middlesbrough 1-0 on Saturday to secure their passage to the next round. They will take on Vitor Pereira's Wolves side, who progressed after a 2-1 victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Goals from Rayan Ait-Nouri and Rodrigo Gomes saw Wolves take a two-goal lead in the first quarter of the game. However, they were pegged back by Bristol City as Scott Twine scored a free-kick in first-half stoppage time, but Wolves held on for the win. Pereira's side will be hoping for a similar run in the competition to last season, where they reached the quarter-finals, including a victory over West Brom in a Black Country derby. There's an all-Premier League clash as Unai Emery's Villa host Spurs, who made hard work of beating Tamworth. Villa came from behind to beat West Ham in the previous round, inflicting defeat on Graham Potter in his first game in charge of the Hammers. Crysencio Summerville gave West Ham the lead in the ninth minute, as Villa wore a special black kit to mark their 150th anniversary. Villa were poor for much of the game but turned it on in the final 30 minutes as Amadou Onana and Morgan Rogers completed the comeback. Chris Davies' side, who are third in League One, progressed to the next round after a 2-1 victory over fellow third-tier side Lincoln City. Stoke will welcome fellow Championship side Cardiff City, who beat Sunderland on Saturday to progress. The fourth-round matches are scheduled to be played from Friday, February 7 to Monday, February 10, with fixture times to be confirmed later.
