Xbox's Fable reboot will apparently play quite similarly to a certain beloved CD Projekt game, according to the latest rumours.
We’ve had glimpses of Fable’s combat in trailers, but no raw gameplay yet Although the new Fable is keeping the series’ sense of humour, it’s apparently turned to a surprising inspiration for its combat. Microsoft has several Xbox exclusives scheduled for 2025, but the most anticipated, or at least the one with the highest profile, is the Fable reboot.
Although The Witcher 3 is comfortably one of the best role-playing games of all-time even most fans would agree that its combat is one of its weakest elements, so it seems a bit strange that that would be the part Playground Games would want to copy. It was never terrible in The Witcher 3 though, just not up to par with the rest of the game, and given how simplistic the action was in the original Fable games this would still count as an upgrade.
