Fabrizio Romano has opened up on the prospect of Jamal Musiala signing for Chelsea ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Blues will reportedly pay a fee in the region of £40-£45million for attacking midfielder.The England Under-21 international is now expected to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours before completing a move ahead of the deadline.
Palmer, a product of City’s academy, has made 19 Premier League games and made a further 22 appearances for the club in additional competitions.The 21-year-old netted in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal to close out pre-season, but has only featured twice since. Indeed, Palmer started and scored in City’s Super Cup win over Sevilla, while he came off the bench in the club’s opening-weekend win over Burnley.
