Lorna Pennycook would feed her criminal boyfriend top secret information
A police officer who was 'infatuated' with her secret criminal boyfriend has been jailed after she fed him secret police intel for years. PC Lorna Pennycook, 38, used her job to research information across different police systems and pass on her findings to partner Anthony Kennedy, 43, between 2017 and 2021.

She also carried out checks for outstanding warrants for Sandwell – where Kennedy lived – 42 times in four years compared with only a handful of checks for other areas she did not police.
In her initial police interview following her arrest, Pennycook claimed that Kennedy had ruined her life and she acted as she did because she was in fear of him. Pennycook, who resigned from West Midlands Police shortly after her arrest, was today jailed for four years at Birmingham Crown Court.
