The properties were mainly empty with the owners away on holiday
These are the faces of two members of a burglary gang who targeted more than 20 homes across Nottinghamshire , Derbyshire and Lancashire. Prime mover Darren Cox would drill holes in window frames to gain entry to the mostly empty homes of mainly elderly people while they were on holiday.
Sentencing the gang, Judge James Sampson said: “It almost goes without saying that dwelling house burglary is a gravely serious crime. It is devastating for the victims who feel violated and may never feel safe again in their own homes.“Darren Cox you have many previous convictions for burglary so it would be an affront to justice to suspend any sentence for these multiple burglaries.
