The faces of the 11 criminals locked up in Leeds in February 2023
February is only a short month but proved to be one of the busiest at the courts across Yorkshire. Every day, many people make their way into the dock at Leeds Crown Court - although some of them don't come back out again - instead they are taken to the cells to begin their sentences in custody.
In the same month of his arrest, White filmed himself with the weapon saying "In the back for Chesney lad." Leeds Crown Court heard the phrase related to a man named Stephen Crawley. The day after, a red Land Rover linked to Crawley was shot at. Bradford Crown Court heard how the male householder woke up to see him reaching in to steal the box which contained watches, cuff links and a Battle of Britain brooch. The burglary was part of a series of crimes committed by the 35-year-old over a seven-week period last year.Daniel Rutter Rutter - who a judge said had a "despicable" attitude towards sex workers strangled and suffocated a woman in a degrading attack in her own home.
Messages on the Encrochat system referred to the selling of drugs for cash and about buying ketamine and cocaine for cash. In other messages, Frazier said a bank note machine had "changed his life" and discussed an arrangement with drug dealers from Bristol to sell 10kg of ketamine for a total of £70,000. He was jailed for seven years and four months.
Predator Exposure went to the address in Leeds Paris had given them but he was not there. It was not until April 2 last year that he was arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. He told officers he was a religious person and "wouldn't do that" before suggesting the offences could have been the work of a "disgruntled customer seeking revenge for buying a faulty car off him." He was jailed for 22 months.
