The 72nd Annual Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival will wrap up a day early on Saturday, March 16, 2024, due to the threat of inclement weather.
According to organizers and local officials, the outdoor festival, which got underway Friday, will wrap up this evening Saturday, March 16, for safety because of Sunday’s weather threat.
Festival hours have been extended through 7 p.m. today. Shuttle will also remain available to attendees until 7 p.m., organizers said.“Under advisement of the City of Fairhope, Fairhope Police Department and National Weather Service, The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival and Eastern Shore Art Center’s Outdoor Art Show will be closed Sunday, March 17, 2024.
“The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival Foundation and Eastern Shore Art Center met this afternoon with city leaders and local officials to evaluate the weather situation. The safety of our artists, volunteers, and guests is of the utmost importance.”
