The state weather bureau says Severe Tropical Storm FalconPH has enhanced the southwest monsoon, causing heavy rainfall over the western section of Luzon and Visayas.
PAGASA also said the southwest monsoon, or habagat, will bring torrential rains over Zambales and Bataan. Heavy to intense rains are expected over Occidental Mindoro and the northern portion of Palawan, including Calamian, Cuyo and Kalayaan Islands.
The trough of Falcon will also cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas and Bicol region. "For the next three days, may kalakasan pa rin 'yong epekto ng habagat sa ating bansa," PAGASA weather specialist Daniel Villamil said in a briefing."Makikita natin for Zambales and Bataan for the next three days magpapatuloy 'yong mga matinding pag-ulan na dala ng habagat."
