McGlynn couldn't be happier as the good vibes roar on at the Falkirk Stadium
John McGlynn hailed his Falkirk heroes after humbling Jekyll and Hyde Hearts in a horror show for the Jambos.
McGlynn was thrilled to blast into the last eight. The Bairns boss said: “Great. The boys were absolutely magnificent. They just turn out performance after performance so I’m delighted with them. They’ve got to take all of the praise, they weathered the storm early doors then I thought we grew into the game. Keelan Adams was causing them problems down the right and lo and behold, that’s what happened with the first goal.
There’s something stirring at Falkirk. McGlynn’s men are off to a flier in the Championship after promotion and have now taken out one of the top flight’s big beasts in the cup. McGlynn said: “The guys have belief in themselves. The same couldn’t be said for Hearts supporters. They were fuming. The optimism of the opening-day draw with Rangers has been replaced by simmering frustration at the last couple of results and performances. Naismith made eight changes from the dismal league defeat at Dens Park last week and they should have been out of sight inside the opening 25 minutes.
