Fallon Sherrock secured her place in the Final Stage of the PDC Qualifying School, winning nine legs on day three in Milton Keynes. She joins other notable names like Justin Hood, Bruno Stoeckli, Damian Mol, and Jason Heaver who also qualified automatically.
Fallon Sherrock qualified for the Final Stage of Qualifying School on day three in Milton Keynes. Sherrock won nine legs at the UK Qualifying School in Milton Keynes, following up a 5-0 victory over Danny Moore with a 5-4 defeat to Justin Hood. The PDC Qualifying Schools provide any darts player aged 16 and above with a chance to earn a two-year PDC Tour Card, with Qualifying School being held at venues in the UK and Germany simultaneously across a seven-day period.
The top eight from each day qualify automatically for the Final Stage, while the remaining places in the Final Stage - up to a total of 128 at each venue - are decided from an Order of Merit. Sherrock was one of a large number of players, including Hood, to book their place in the Final Stage during Day Three. Switzerland's Bruno Stoeckli and former Development Tour winner Damian Mol headlined the list of 16 players to automatically progress during another hugely busy day of action featuring hundreds of hopefuls battling for the chance to compete on the professional circuit. Mol was joined by fellow Dutchman Dennie Olde Kalter, Davy Proosten and Angelo Balsamo in winning through automatically in Kalkar. Swiss World Cup star Stoeckli also advanced to the last eight, with Spain's Angel Rodriguez, Frenchman Nicolas Thuillier and Germany's Maximilian Czerwinski making up the eight automatic qualifiers. Former Tour Card Holder Jason Heaver headlined the automatic qualifiers from the UK Qualifying School, with young prospect Nathan Potter also booking his Final Stage spot alongside Hood and Nicholas Ellis. Ryan O'Connor defeated former Lakeside Champion Scott Mitchell on his way to automatic qualification, and he was joined by Scotland's Colin Gibson, Welsh star Alex Williams and Ireland's Ultan McDye
