Bethesda is taking the game's servers down to roll out to Milepost Zero update.
Fallout 76 servers are down for a major update today and gamers won't be able to get back on for a long while.
Gamers can however look forward to the Legendary crafting system overhaul, that sees Legendary Cores ditched for the brand new Legendary Particles, reports the Mirror. As well as the Caravan Outpost content, the Halloween event Mischief Night is also being delayed but we'll hopefully see it pull up alongside the caravans in a few weeks. The full patch notes are live and we have the Fallout server status schedule for today's update below.
In a post on the Bethesda Games Studios Discord server, Stanford clarified that you don't need to uninstall the game to get the Fallout 76 Milepost Zero update. "You will notice a large update that you will have to download. The platform you're playing on will do the rest."
