Andrew Lartey, Georgia Tate, and Jason Gibbon were among nine people who died in fatal crashes across Scotland between Friday and Monday.
The families of three people who died in a motorcycle crash in the Scottish Borders at the weekend have said they are 'devastated'. Andrew Lartey, 29, and pillion passenger Georgia Tate, 23, both from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, died in the collision between Bonchester Bridge and Carter Bar on the A6088 on Sunday afternoon. The rider of a second motorbike, Jason Gibbon, 37, from Northumberland, also died in the incident.
'We ask for our privacy to be respected at this difficult time.' Mr Gibbon's family said he would be 'greatly, sadly missed'. They added: 'We are devastated by the loss of a much-loved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, and devoted friend to many. 'We are comforted by the messages from many. We would like to ask for privacy to allow the family to grieve at this very difficult time.
