The family of four were asleep when four armed intruders burst into their home.
mother, father and their two young kids were asleep inside their Panania home on Tyalgum Ave when a pack of armed intruders allegedly broke in about 10.30pm on Sunday night.
Two of the alleged intruders were armed with guns, one with a machete, and one with a knife, as they burst into the home before attacking the man and woman and fleeing with their valuables.“ forced their way into the home, assaulted a man and a woman, before stealing jewellery and fleeing in a vehicle,” NSW Police said.
The 57-year-old father was treated at the scene by NSW paramedics before he was transported to Bankstown Hospital in a stable condition. The family asleep in their Panania home were allegedly attacked by armed intruders who fled with their valuables.A crime scene has been established and an ongoing investigation into the incident has commenced.
