Help keep family & friends informed by sharing this articleA fire that gutted a wholesale bakery has devastated a Perth family and their long-standing customers, with the 25-year-old family run business razed to the ground.It's a long-standing family-run business that employs hundreds of people125 firefighters attended the scene on Friday morning at the Planet Street bakery in Carlisle, with authorities quickly issuing a hazmat warning for the smoke in the area.

Though the fire was brought under control just before 7am, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said they expected it may take crews up to 5pm to have the blaze extinguished. DFES incident controller Leigh Bishop said no one was inside the building when the emergency call was made by a delivery driver.
