'We are on our knees'
A family has lost everything after a devastating fire tore through their home, destroying their worldly possessions.
Currently, Joop is living in an emergency foster home, but is being kept separate from the other dogs in their care, meaning he's restricted to the living in the front room. Joop has been with his owners since he was eight weeks old, just over two years ago and has lived with them up until the house fire on Friday. Jemma says that this means young Joop has never known anything else, other than his pack, mum, dad and his owners. She said: "He has had everything taken from him. His brothers, his sisters, his family members, all of his comfort items, his toys, food, treats, collar - it has gone.
Not only did Jemma help out on the night of the devastating fire, but so did the owner of The Dog Man, Paul Walker. The pet sitter "dropped everything" to put his own dogs into care elsewhere, whilst he gave the dogs that had been traumatised by the fire a place to stay over the weekend, immediately after the incident.
