Celtic fan Gary Watson Shearer went missing on March 16, after jetting out to Puerto Del Carmen in Lanzarote to celebrate St Patrick's Day alone - he has not been seen since.
The family of a Renfrew man who vanished in Lanzarote last year have now released further details of his movement on the island.
Arriving at hotel Gary arrived at the Oasis Apartments in the Puerto Del Carmen resort and sent a picture to his family as he sat by the poolside. He put some items into the safe in his hotel room and took €70 from his spending money with him. CCTV and mystery man Gary was captured on CCTV at the Spar shop and is believed to have asked someone for directions to Bar 67.
Earlier reports indicate that Gary was seen near the bar, with CCTV picking him up lying unconscious in a doorway at 1.30am the following morning.New appeal Family and friends are launching a new appeal and search in the coming days. Gary had tattoos on his arm and neck and they plan on visiting all of the tattoo parlours in Puerto del Carmen in case he stopped by at any of them.
Gary's family are also planning to issue a fresh appeal in the hope that their words reach the much loved, son, brother and uncle. The Spanish police urge anyone with information to come forward.
