"Gavin is my everything, that’s not gonna stop now," said Victoria Carter, Gavin's fiancé."He truly taught me how to love and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I am left with no direction. My only wish is that his beautiful soul can rest in peace." “My son’s gone too soon," said Dawn Carter, Gavin's mother."He was taken from us in a tragic way. The only solace I can take is that Gavin died the way he lived being a good man, doing the right thing."
