The family of a 35-year-old woman who was found dead with multiple injuries in Bury, Greater Manchester, have paid tribute to her.
Barbara Nomakhosi ‘enjoyed working as a carer’, her family said A carer who was found dead with multiple wounds at a house in Bury has been described as hard-working and thoughtful by her family. Barbara Nomakhosi is thought to have died shortly before her body was discovered at the address on Walnut Avenue in the Greater Manchester town on Friday. A suspect identified by police was later found to have died when an HGV hit a pedestrian on the M65 eastbound at around 9pm the same evening.
30pm on Friday, and investigators believe she died earlier that evening. A neighbour said she had called the police ‘straight away’ after her daughter heard screaming from the house. She said another local resident sprinted across the road but was unable to save her, adding: ‘It’s usually so quiet around here, nothing like that ever happens.
