A Nottingham family have been left "speechless" at a young dad's bravery while he waits for a heart transplant. Luke Barnes had open-heart surgery while he waits for a heart transplant.

The couple met when they were both working at BT two years ago and married in June this year when they found out the transplant news.
Isobel's mum set up a GoFundMe page to help support the couple through their tough time. The thought was to raise £1,000 to help Isobel fund travelling to and from Cambridge and help support the couple since they have lost an income. Isobel's mum Elizabeth Berkeley-White decided to set up the fundraiser to help the couple. She said: "They have been so overwhelmed with people's messages of support and that is getting them through. But, I know behind the scenes that Luke fairly recently got a job and because he was there a short time, he is not entitled to sick pay.
She said the couple are "taking each day by day but they show such strength, such resilience, such grace, such love. They leave me speechless."
